You start with the curtain rod. To be able to hang a curtain rod you need brackets. We have various brackets in our range. As a nice finishing touch you need finials. You can choose a simple end cap or a finial with details.

If you are in doubt about the colours of our curtain rods, you can always request a free sample by email or using the order button on the homepage. We will then send you one or more pieces of rod in your preferred colours. In doing so, we want to prevent you from ordering rods that do not meet your expectations.

For shipping reasons, curtain rods up to 265 cm are supplied in one piece. Greater lengths (from 266 cm) are supplied in two parts with a connector. The connection is not visible as it coincides within the bracket. If you collect your order in person, you can order lengths of up to 3 metres in one piece.

The rods are made of steel. After being galvanized, these are dipped in a bath of liquid metal, e.g., bronze, stainless steel, brass, etc. The outer layer is bronze or brass, but around a steel rod. The black rods are steel and then black powder-coated.

Our curtain rods have a size of 19 mm or 28 mm. They can also be combined in our duo systems. This is useful if you want to hang both net curtains and drapes.

Yes, that is possible. You can cut our curtain rods to size using a hacksaw or pipe cutter.

Type the desired size in cm and you can indicate how often you want it. Are they different sizes? Then you can add each rod with the desired size to the shopping basket separately.

That depends primarily on your curtains. In most cases, this is 10 rings per metre of fabric. However, it is possible that you have more or fewer pleats per metre. This therefore varies depending on the type of curtain.

In that case, you can order ceiling-mounted brackets. This gives you flexible positioning options.

We have 3 types of brackets in our range. We have wall brackets, wall/ceiling brackets and recess brackets. These brackets are available in various designs.

Wall brackets can only be mounted on the wall. This is because the bracket that holds the curtain rod is partly open. Our wall/ceiling brackets are closed brackets. As a result, this bracket can be mounted on both the wall and the ceiling. Our recess brackets are used when you want to place the curtain rods precisely between two walls.

A number of wall brackets can be shortened using a small hacksaw. The maximum length is around 19 cm and the minimum length to which they can be shortened is 5 cm. If you would like to know the exact details, please refer to our product description for the brackets where this is possible.

Do you want to place the curtain rod between 2 walls or partitions? If so, measure the exact tight space between the reveals and subtract the following: for a 28 mm rod -1.5 cm and for a 19 mm rod -1 cm. This is necessary for mounting the rod. The exact size will not fit in combination with the brackets.

We assume that for a curtain rod up to approximately 2.25 metres, 2 brackets are sufficient. From 2.25 metres onwards, we recommend 3 brackets. However, factors such as whether your curtains are heavy or light in weight, and whether you intend to open and close the curtains every day, may also play a part.

For curtain rods with a length of 2.65 m or more, you need 3 brackets as we supply that rod in 2 parts.

First, look at the space and situation of the place where you want to place a curtain rod. Do you want a pole across the entire width of the wall? Or do you want the pole only above a window frame? The house decides what is needed. We have a number of tips for you for measuring curtain rods.

You measure the length of your window frame and for this it is nice to let your curtain rod extend by about 20 to 25 cm on both sides. For a smaller window you can think of 10 to 15 cm extra.

Do not forget the length of the finial in your calculation. Also ensure that it fits properly between any walls and that it has a lovely, generous appearance.

Order your curtain rod to the exact size. You can specify the exact length you need the curtain rods to be, down to the centimetre.

By using a metal tape measure that is long enough to measure in one go. Measure at least twice to prevent mistakes.
